Russia’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva told reporters on Thursday that Moscow is open to negotiations on ending the war in Ukraine if initiated by President-elect Donald Trump. However, he added that any such negotiations would need to be based on what he said were the realities of Russian advances on the ground.

The satirical news publication The Onion won the bidding for Alex Jones’s Infowars at a bankruptcy auction on Thursday, backed by families of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims to whom Jones owes more than $1 billion in defamation judgments. Jones vowed to challenge the sale and the auction process in court.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody sued FEMA officials on Thursday for conspiracy to discriminate against hurricane victims who expressed support for Trump in the presidential election. According to whistleblower reports, some FEMA workers in parts of Florida were directed to ignore storm victims in households that displayed Trump signs or flags.
