Trump to Declare National Emergency, Use Military for Mass Deportation; Biden Attends G20 in Brazil

by EditorR

President-elect Donald Trump confirmed reports that his administration is preparing to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to implement its mass deportation program.

In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump responded “TRUE!!!” to a report on his plan for illegal immigrants.

The G20 summit kicked off in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Monday, with President Joe Biden and other heads of government from the world’s leading economies attending. The summit’s main topics include hunger, trade, climate policies, and the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.

The Kremlin warned on Monday that Biden’s decision to let Ukraine strike targets inside Russia with U.S.-supplied longer-range missiles adds “fuel to the fire” of the war and would further escalate international tensions. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to Biden’s decision, saying “The missiles will speak for themselves.”
