As the Chinese Communist Party’s foreign minister, Wang Yi, arrived in Ottawa, an appeal for human rights in China took place at Parliament Hill on Friday.
The human rights advocates are urging Canadian officials to address the Chinese regime’s abuses, from those in China to the Chinese diaspora in Canada and around the world. They’re practitioners of Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, a spiritual practice heavily persecuted by the Chinese regime due to its popularity and moral teachings.
