Committee Weighs Holding Fauci in Contempt; Trump: Iran faces ‘beating’ | NTD Evening News

Dr. Anthony Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment to over 100 questions at a Senate hearing on Wednesday, to which he was subpoenaed, regarding his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer issued a statement after the hearing, saying Fauci is “trapped by the many lies he repeatedly told the American public.” The committee is expected to vote next week on whether to hold Fauci in contempt of Congress for declining to answer questions, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), the chair of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee said.
