The Department of Justice on Wednesday announced five newly unsealed indictments against several alleged leaders of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, or CJNG, and joined the State Department in offering over $100 million in rewards for information that would lead to the arrests of high-ranking leaders of the CJNG.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has taken a closer look at the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States, saying that the group is a clear and present danger to the safety and security of Americans. One witness, Lara Burns, a retired FBI special agent, said the FBI wiretapped a meeting of leaders of the Palestine committee, which was linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, and they said they wanted to infiltrate U.S. universities, media, and politics.
Jeanine John Taele, 38, is expected to appear at court in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, after being detained Sunday when he was found armed with a pistol and prohibited ammunition outside President Donald Trump’s Los Angeles-area golf course. The FBI says Taele’s actions at the golf course raised serious concerns and led investigators to uncover additional weapons.
