The New York Supreme Court on June 27 struck down a New York City law that allowed non-citizens to vote in local elections. In what’s regarded by many as a win for religious freedom, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that the religious rights of Coach Joesph Kennedy, the football coach who would pray at the 50-yard line after games, were violated when he was fired over his prayers.
