A traditional Japanese ensemble, Nagata Shachu, despite being based in Toronto, Canada, is dedicated to reviving the ancient art form of Japanese drum or Taiko. They’ve shared their Japanese heritage with the Western world by performing for the local community, North America, and Europe.
