Tariffs on Mexico and Canada delayed to April 2

President Donald Trump signed two executive orders Thursday, amending tariffs on Mexico and Canada. Goods under the U.S.–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA), including autos, will be exempt from tariffs until April 2, with reciprocal tariffs expected to begin at that time.

U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff shared updates on U.S.–Ukraine relations and peace talks following a tense meeting between Trump and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Witkoff confirmed Zelenskyy’s commitment to working toward a peace deal with Russia, with a key meeting between the United States and Ukraine planned in Saudi Arabia next week.
