The CCP’s Secret War

by EditorR

This is an ongoing covert war—a war in which the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) seeks to hijack free societies and persecute innocent people. It’s a war without shots being fired, but with enough power to challenge the founding values in free countries.

Shen Yun Performing Arts was established in 2006 with a mission to revive traditional Chinese culture, which has been devastated in China under the CCP. Shen Yun’s performances have been acclaimed by audiences worldwide. As of 2025, Shen Yun has grown to eight equally-sized performance troupes, having staged over 7,400 shows globally to an audience exceeding 11 million people.

Since 2024, a major U.S. media outlet has repeatedly published articles attacking Shen Yun Performing Arts and the faith of its performers, Falun Gong. These articles parrot the CCP’s propaganda, full of with one-sized distortions and falsehoods used to discredit the faith in China for the regime to justify its persecution. But these biased narratives have now been widely disseminated by the CCP’s overseas affiliates and proxies, allowing the CCP’s fabricated narratives to infiltrate American society.

In March of this year, over 1,500 Shen Yun artists, trainees, and their families signed a petition stating that these “grossly distorted and false narratives” of the CCP are “echoing in mainstream media,” partly supported by legal warfare and “demands for government investigations.” They called on the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate the malicious activities of the CCP and bring those responsible to justice.

Furthermore, since 2024, incidents aimed at disrupting Shen Yun’s global tours have noticeably increased. From 2024 to May 2025 alone, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recorded over 110 attempted sabotage incidents against Shen Yun worldwide, many concentrated in the United States, including bomb threats at the Kennedy Center in Washington.
