Transforming a Serious Health Condition Into Opportunity–Robyn Michaud’s Story

Robyn Michaud is a full-time professor and an indigenous Canadian. In 2012, she was diagnosed with syringomyelia, a cyst within the spinal cord. After recommendations from her doctor to stay active, she started training for and running marathons. As of 2024, she’s run 43 marathons and finished all the Marathon Majors across the globe. She now aims to reach her milestone 50th marathon by the end of this year. She joined NTD to share her inspiring story.
