‘Truckers for Freedom’ Protest Continues in Ottawa Sunday as Movement Marks One Week in the Nation’s Capital

OTTAWA—Protesters continue to gather and demonstrate against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and restrictions in Canada’s capital on Feb. 6.

The number of protesters dropped during the past week after a large convoy of truckers converged in Ottawa on Jan. 29.

But thousands again came to protest over the weekend of Feb. 5, and many say they will stay in the city until the government removes COVID-19 mandates.
