Trump Announces 25% Tariff on Imported Cars, Exempting U.S.-Assembled Vehicles

President Trump delivered remarks on auto tariffs today from the White House, announcing that a 25 percent tariff will be imposed on imported cars. However, cars assembled in the U.S. will not be subject to the tariff.

Lawmakers grilled intelligence chiefs for a second consecutive day, with Republicans and Democrats voicing concerns over starkly different national security issues.

A near-majority of the Supreme Court upheld a rule today requiring background checks for buyers of untraceable gun parts sold in kits. The Court ruled that once assembled, these so-called ‘ghost guns’ are considered firearms.
