The United States today announced new tariffs on European nations over the Greenland issue. President Donald Trump said the sanctions start on Feb. 1 and won’t stop until a deal is reached.

After Trump announced the formation of a Gaza Board of Peace to oversee the rebuilding of Gaza, the Israeli prime minister’s office said on X today that the board’s composition “was not coordinated with Israel and runs contrary to its policy.” It also said Israel’s foreign affairs minister will contact U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio about the issue.
