President Trump announced a deal under which the U.S. will sell sanctioned Venezuelan oil, between 30 and 50 million barrels, with proceeds partly allocated to Venezuela on the condition that it purchases only American products.
The U.S. confirmed the seizure of two more sanctioned oil tankers linked to Venezuela. One was seized in the Caribbean, and the other in the North Atlantic near Iceland.
