President Donald Trump is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he is speaking to steelworkers and highlighting his role in keeping U.S. Steel under American ownership. The rally follows his announcement last week of a partnership between U.S. Steel and Japan’s Nippon Steel.

On Friday, Trump held a press conference alongside Elon Musk to mark the end of Musk’s tenure as head of the Department of Government Efficiency. Trump praised Musk for “leading the most sweeping and consequential government reform program in generations.” Musk said he believes the agency will continue to grow stronger and expressed confidence in achieving “a trillion dollars of waste and fraud reduction” over time.

In a major immigration development, the Supreme Court has cleared the way for the Trump administration to end a Biden-era parole program. The policy had allowed individuals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to live and work in the United States. With the decision, the administration can now begin deporting more than half a million immigrants.
