Trump signed a series of executive orders on education

President Donald Trump says that it’s acceptable if the United States doesn’t reach a deal with China, stating that if no fair agreement emerges, the United States will “set the price.” The comments come amid the United States’ ongoing trade talks with global partners. The president also signed a series of executive orders on education, targeting what he described as discriminatory practices and “ideological overreach” in schools.

Meanwhile, as some Democrats call for Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s return to the United States, border czar Tom Homan defended the deportation of the Salvadoran national, who is accused of gang affiliation. Homan said that U.S. courts have no authority to compel El Salvador to send Abrego Garcia back. Trump also noted that it is “impossible” to provide individual trials for every illegal immigrant prior to deportation.
