In former President Donald Trump’s so-called hush-money trial on Monday, Justice Juan Merchan ruled that President Trump had violated his gag order for a tenth time, and fined him $1,000. This was for comments President Trump made about the jury during the trial. The judge threatened the former president with jail time for future violations.
President Trump was in court for the third week of the trial. Jeff McConney, former controller and accounts payable supervisor at The Trump Organization, testified about the business records that are at the heart of the case.
The Israeli military ordered around 100,000 people to evacuate from eastern Rafah. The Israeli Air Force also began bombing Hamas targets in Rafah in preparation for the planned ground operation.
The Hamas terrorist group said it’s agreeing to a six-week hostage and cease-fire deal. The Biden administration is reviewing Hamas’ response, while Israel said the deal that Hamas agreed to is not the framework that was agreed upon with mediators.
