At least 188 people are dead, with thousands more injured or trapped under rubble after two major earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.5 and 7.2 struck Venezuela on Wednesday evening. The U.S. Geological Survey estimates the death toll could reach as much as 10,000. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says he already spoke with Venezuela’s acting president Delcy Rodriguez, coordinating U.S. support.
