President Donald Trump’s White House has unveiled its budget blueprint for the next fiscal year, proposing more than $160 billion in spending cuts. The plan increases funding for defense and border security while reducing support for progressive initiatives. The president also ordered cuts to PBS and NPR subsidies, accusing the outlets of media bias.

Trump renewed his threat against Harvard University Friday, posting on Truth Social that he would revoke the school’s tax-exempt status, adding, “It’s what they deserve.” The repeated threat highlights an ongoing battle between the administration and Harvard over anti-Semitism, free speech, and federal funding.

An accountant at the U.S. Institute of Peace allegedly deleted a terabyte of accounting data during an investigation by the Department of Government Efficiency, according to a staff member. The matter has reportedly been referred to the Justice Department and the FBI.
